最近、
ラジオで聞いてハマった曲の
意味を知りたくて検索したところ
まだ、和訳してる人がいなさそうだったので
してみました。

“Superman”というタイトルにも惹かれ
はまり込んだ曲です。
和訳してみて思ったことは
英語の歌は直接的には
日本語に直らないということです
だからこそ、
訳をする際に
翻訳者が自分の解釈を加えながら
日本語に直さないと
ちゃんとした
日本語にならないことを学びました。
映画も本も歌詞も
全部翻訳者の解釈が入っていることを
頭に置いておきたいです
そして、
自分の解釈で汲み取りたいなら
結局自分で訳すしかないのだと
そんなことを思いました。
